The challenge
ICONIX’s 20,000+-square-foot facility called for clear music and announcements without visually intrusive equipment. Extensive glass and open workout areas made sound coverage and control of reflections important design considerations.
JAG’s approach
JAG distributed 154 SoundTube loudspeakers across 14 independently controlled zones. Bringing speakers closer to listeners supported even coverage at lower playback levels. The design combined RS800i pendants and RS1201 subwoofers in workout areas, Dante-enabled IPD-CM82-BGM ceiling speakers in supporting spaces, and CM62 models in humid areas.
Built for members and staff
Flexible routing allowed staff to assign sources to different zones and adapt spaces to the day’s programming.
